General Manager 5 Food

Unit Description Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5, Food for potential new business in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.  This facility is comprised of 160 residents including Adolescent, Adult, and Seniors.  The dining operations are food court station style as well as catering and some weekly and daily services.  The General Manager for this community will be responsible to manage all dining experiences for the residents, manage 7 managers with a managed volume of approximately $3.3 million annually.    Is this opportunity right for you? The ideal candidate will have: 5 or more years previous food service management experience at a director/ general manager level;  strong financial acumen (fee account); excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with adolescents/adults in the culture of recovering; strong leadership and management skills with a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC), and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. Position Summary Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account. Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
